DEEP ROOTS
A young lady, a ladder, and a truck stood before the photographer who snapped a moments in time that would connect a family over 40 years later.
It was a sunny autumn morning in 1962, when an 18 year old Pearl Adams picked up a brush to begin sign writing her father’s furniture truck. This would be the first and only sign writing job Pearl would do.
Social stereotyping would dictate this creative young talent see her working days out as a doctor's receptionist.
Luck would have it that this moment was captured by her father, Victor, on camera, creating a piece of history that would resurface more than 4 decades later, linking a modern day business to this moment in time.
The photo of Pearl and her ladder, demonstrate the creative skill and an eye for detail she brought to branding a vehicle. Victor Adams desire to have his company logo on the truck shows the value he saw in vehicle branding even way back then.
Fast forward to today, although Auntie Pearl’s nephew, Matthew Adams, uses more modern methods to create stunning vehicle branding with the team at Tradie Wraps, the creativity and value of vehicle branding has not been lost to this family.
It’s hard to believe that the success of Tradie Wraps today has genetic roots to that sunny morning in 1962.
It’s now more important than ever to create a bold and simple message to expose a business to thousands of road users every day; that is what the Tradie Wraps team has done for many businesses since 2005.
